Which Jesus?

I worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

Which Jesus do YOU worship?

Do you know what the Lord Jesus accomplished at the cross?  (Hebrews 10:17) makes it clear: "And THEIR sins and iniquities will I remember no more."

The sins of EVERY PERSON for whom Christ died will never be remembered. Every professing Christian should know this because this is what the gospel is all about. The very essence of the gospel is about what took place at the cross. That is why Paul said "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." (1 Corinthians 2:2)

I know that Christ only died for the elect and that is why He was perfectly successful in saving His people. "call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21), "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began" (2 Timothy 1:9)

The blood of Christ guaranteed my salvation. "justified by his blood" (Romans 5:9). My salvation did not depend on me in any way - that is how I know I am saved by grace. The only reason why I believe the gospel is because God made me born again. "the fruit of the Spirit is...faith" (Galatians 5:22). And the only reason why God made me born again was because He predestinated me to be adopted as one of His very own children. "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will" (Ephesians1:5). God adopted me because He wanted to. "according to the good pleasure of his will" (Ephesians 1:5). I obtained this inheritance because God works out EVERYTHING exactly the way He wants it to go. " In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will" (Ephesians 1:11).

Sadly to say, there are many deceivers out there who twist the scriptures into a non-grace message. "which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction." (2 Peter 3:16) Such are the preachers of "free will". Their devilish doctrine of self-help takes verses like (John 1:12) and distorts the truth until it is totally stripped of grace. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God," Preachers of "free will" say that salvation DEPENDS ON YOU. They say that "receiving" Christ is achieved by "free will". But the bible says something quite different. "the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive" (John 14:17). Anyone who preaches that salvation DEPENDS ON YOU is simply a person who is declaring that he or she has no understanding of what grace is.

In order to receive Christ, God must work a MIRACLE of grace! "You must be born again." (John 3:7) Nothing that you do or say makes you born again - God is the only one who is able to do that. "Receive" does not mean that God had to wait for my approval. I received eternal life the same way I received life in my mother's womb - WHEN GOD was pleased to give it. "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me" (Galatians 1:15-16). Salvation DEPENDS entirely on God and NOT on "free will" lest any man should boast.

"Free will" preachers say that God cannot save you unless you LET Him. They make a big claim about God being a gentleman and that He would never force His will upon you without your permission. But if that was true, God could not have given me life in my mother's womb because I did not approve that action. Reality is God forced His will upon me to give me life when He caused my mother to conceive. "the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son." (Ruth 4:13). God is the one who causes conception. If God had to wait for my approval, then I would never have been made. "he that made me in the womb" (Job 31:15). Reality is I had no control over getting myself born the first time just like I had no control over getting born again. It was only because of God's will that I was given eternal life. "The wind blows where it wills... so is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:8).

If you say you trust the word of God and that you know what grace is, then you must BELIEVE that your salvation did not depend on you in any way - especially not on your will. "It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy." (Romans 9:16)

If someone comes to you preaching a god who CANNOT SAVE without your permission, then that is NOT the God of the bible. Preachers of "free will" are talking about another Jesus. "preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached" (2 Corinthians 11:4). The bible says that people who preach another Jesus are actually ministers of the devil. "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

The Jesus of the bible is the Lord God Almighty. He did not need my authorization to save me. He did not need my help in any way - He did it all by Himself! He guaranteed my salvation by what He did FOR me. He took away all my sins and paid for them on the cross. My sins will never be remembered because they were paid for in full. The blood of Christ put my sins away forever! How do I know the Lord Jesus did this for me - by FAITH. God GAVE me faith WHEN He made me born again. Faith is small at first and then it grows. Faith is how God told me all my sins were put away at the cross.

But faith did not put away my sins - THE BLOOD of Christ put away my sins. Faith is only the evidence of salvation but it is not the cause of salvation. The evidence of receiving life in my mother's womb was a steady heartbeat. And the evidence of receiving eternal life is FAITH in Christ. Faith is not an operation of free will - Faith is the operation of God. "you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God" (Colossians 2:12).

Receiving Christ was not up to me - it was up to God. I received Christ at the moment He made me born again. Receiving Christ is the evidence that a miracle has happened - God gave me a new heart and a new nature. I am no longer in a condition of rejecting Christ. People who see me now know that I have received Him because I am ready to speak about all He has done for me. By experience and by the written word of God, I know that my will had nothing to do with me receiving Him. "to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:13) I was born of God because of His will - not because of my will. Receiving or not receiving is the evidence of who you are. People who have not received Christ are still dead in sin. Not receiving Christ is the evidence of not being born of God. "there is none that seeketh after God." (Romans 3:11)

"Free will" religion distorts the true gospel of grace into a gospel of works. Do you have a definition of what salvation by works is? Here is my definition. (If your salvation was merited by something you did or said, then it is not grace - it is works.) Is that simple enough? In the religion of "free will", people are told they can merit salvation by making a decision. Not by God's decision but by his/her own decision. By definition, "free will" is a religion of works. "Free will" ministers do not preach the miracle of salvation. Instead of preaching the words of Christ "You must be born again" (John 3:7) they preach their own words "make your decision".

The gospel of "free will" is no different from any other false religion of the world - it is for people who cannot trust the God of the bible. People who cannot trust God must trust in self. "Free will" is a religion of unbelief. The bible is clear about what Christ accomplished at the cross but "free will" worshippers do not believe it. According to the bible, the sins of EVERY PERSON for whom Christ died will never be remembered. In Hebrews 10:17, the bible says: "And THEIR sins and iniquities will I remember no more."

The "free will" gospel says that Christ died for all but His blood did not guarantee anyone's salvation. That is as Anti-Christian as you can get! This demonic religion attempts to neutralize the power of Christ's blood until the moment a sinner exercises "free will". But that is impossible! Christ either put away sin at the cross or He did not. There was only one sacrifice for sin. "he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever" (Hebrews 10:12) If Christ did not pay for your sins at the cross, then you will have to pay for them yourself. "Free will" is a religion that says Christ's blood has no effect on sin unless you believe the atonement really happened. But that makes no sense at all. Believing what Christ did is not what makes it real. It was ALREADY REAL when Christ was nailed to the cross!

Everyone knows there are some people who think that God did not create the world. But can that UNDO the fact that God DID create the world? No way! God's work in creation cannot be undone by unbelief and neither can His work at the cross be undone by unbelief.

When I was an unbeliever, I was in a condition of rejecting Christ. But now I know that His blood covered ALL MY SINS including the sin of unbelief and rejecting Christ. Was the sin of unbelief and rejecting Christ paid for at the cross? It was for me. But if Christ paid for everyone's sins (like the free will gospel says) then no one could ever be punished in hell for his or her own sins because there are no sins left to be paid for - Christ already paid for it.

Reality is Christ only died for the elect and that is why they will never be punished in hell. Christ was already punished in their place.

If Christ died for you, your sins will never be remembered again - THAT is grace! "And THEIR sins and iniquities will I remember no more." (Hebrews 10:17)

The elect are the ones God chose to save. They will never be found guilty of sin because Christ had already paid for all of their sins.  "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth." (Romans 8:33).

Who are the non-elect? The non-elect are the ones whose names are NOT written in the Lamb's book of life. "whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Revelation 13:8)

The non-elect are the ones who God did NOT choose to be placed in Christ.  "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world" (Ephesians 1:4)

The non-elect are the ones who God did NOT predestinate to be His children.  "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself" (Ephesians 1:5)

The non-elect are: "the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction" (Romans 9:22)

The non-elect are the ones: "to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." (Jude 1:13)

The non-elect are the ones God has blinded: "the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded." (Romans 11:7)

The non-elect are the ones who were NOT GIVEN to Christ: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37)

The non-elect are the ones who were NOT GIVEN understanding of the gospel: "it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." (Matthew 13:11)

The non-elect are the ones who were NOT ordained to eternal life: "as many as were ordained to eternal life believed." (Acts 13:48)

The whole bible is the word of God. If you are going to be honest with God's book, then you must embrace the truth. The bible talks about election and predestination. If you know what grace is, you will not be offended by this truth. None of my foreseen actions had anything to do with God choosing me. Neither my good works nor my evil works had anything to do with election (God's choice). "For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works" (Romans 9:11).

I have talked with "free will" worshippers who say that God loves everyone. And when I ask them, "Does your god love the ones he sends to hell too?" They say; "Yes". So that means if the god of free will sends you to hell, it is because he loves you. What kind of love is that?

The truth is God does not love everyone. "thou hatest all workers of iniquity." (Psalm 5:5).

In fact, anyone who says God loves everyone is a liar because God said: "Esau have I hated" (Romans 9:13).

Let me tell you more about the true God of the bible. God's love for me was unconditional.  I am a sinner.  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

But God chose to have mercy on me.  "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." (Romans 4:8).

I do not know why God made me an object of His everlasting love but I know He did. God's everlasting love is unmerited and undeserved. His love for me is by grace alone. "I have loved thee with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3)

Although my sins condemned me, His love Could not fail to keep me from entering the eternal lake of fire. Before I was even born, God forced His will and His love upon me when He wrote my name in the lamb's book of life. He ordained me to have eternal life and predestinated me to be adopted into His family and I will forever be thankful to Him for that. I am so glad that the Lord Jesus secured my eternal destiny by His own blood. THAT is LOVE! "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

Out of Adam's race of totally corrupted and ruined sinners, God chose to have mercy on some. "the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory" (Romans 9:23).

If you want to argue against this God of sovereign grace, then that is between you and God. "who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?" (Romans 9:20)

The true and living God of the bible who is sovereign in the matter of salvation is unacceptable to the natural man. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2:14). But the false Christ of free will is "accepted" by thousands everyday. In fact you can find the god of "free will" preached in almost every church these days. "For there shall arise false Christs" (Matthew 24:24). Ironically, in the action of "accepting Christ" (the free will doctrine of getting yourself saved) the God of the bible is rejected. Disciples of "free will" boast of how they were saved by "accepting Christ", while in doctrine they continue to reject the true Christ of sovereign grace. This is a time of great falling away from God's truth. The true Christ is not being preached in most churches anymore. The devil's ministers are busy preaching another Jesus. The vast majority of churches have now become the dwelling place of a god who has been constructed by the devil's own doctrine."so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

Do you trust the God of the bible? "And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?" (Daniel 4:35)

Do you trust God to save whom He wants to save? "Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" (Romans 9:21)

Or do you judge this God to be unjust? "Just as it is written: Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated. What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!" (Romans 9:13-14)

The god of "free will" cannot save you unless you LET him - as they say.

But the God of the bible is different: "Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?" (Isaiah 50:2)

Which Jesus do YOU worship?

A. The one whose hand is shortened by the "free will" of sinners.

OR

B. The Almighty Jesus whose blood has guaranteed salvation for all His elect.

Can the will of a man shorten the Lord's hand to save? It depends on which Jesus you worship.

"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save" (Isaiah 50:2)
