This Sunday we gathered together to enjoy a
wonderful Easter Service. It began with a breakfast fellowship put on by the men
of our congregation. I jokingly allured the family to try my golden
griddle pancakes. We have a great omelet maker, and french toast as well. We do
this twice a year in appreciation for the ladies who serve us, every month on
the first Sunday, after the Lords table preparing food for lunch
fellowship. We also have developed a new choir for which I am
very thankful. We had our first hymn singing this Sunday. It was a good time. God
has given us some very gifted people well educated in music, helping us with
fundamentals of music, who also love Christ and His gospel. And although it was very wet this Easter Sunday we
enjoyed a well attended service. We enjoyed old friends and family.
Next week we will be baptizing about 10-12 new
believers and acknowledging into membership several persons and families. We
give God all the glory for His Almighty Grace to us, in all these
things. Eph 2:8-10
